Guys I just got this email and told them I would pass it along. Any questions just ask. I will be teaching and assisting boaters all night. There are ww boats there to use as well. This is an excellent chance to actually learn some things that could help you guys that are fishermen that just happen to paddle. The safer bet is to be a paddler that happens to fish. Come on out a gain some knowledge you can use on the river.
From Columbus Outdoor Pursuits:
What are you doing this Saturday night? Nothing, watching TV….come on over to the YMCA and paddle. Our Roll Class this Saturday evening has low numbers of students, so we are offering an open session similar to our Sunday morning sessions. Want more incentives to get out of the house. ½ price for the Saturday evening session or pay full price and get Sunday morning free Plus you can leave your boat inside on the pool deck overnight (just think, a warm boat in the morning) We only ask that the boaters keep clear of what ever corner we are using for the class. We are still taking registrations for the class – so if you know of anyone have them contact Joyce Deleo ASAP at joycedeleo@yahoo.com Cost of class: Members $35.00 Non-Members $50.00 (good reason to become a member). So please join us this Saturday evening from 8:00 – 10:00 PM Larry Krall Cell (614) 332-5391

WOW! The last time I tried to roll a boat I should have taken a lunch.
Its been a few years and several pounds of less ballast. I think the last was a SOT Torrent. I think it was self-righting.
Of couse I don't own a good boat to try it anymore.
I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!
