We had a good time this morning at the Battelle Darby shelter. Kyle Kochheiser demonstrated lure building and Mark Layman demonstrated tying that go-to fly, the Woolly Bugger. After the meeting, the guys fished the river from canoes and kayaks. Mark and Brenda Layman couldn't join the float, but picked up a smallie and a nice rock bass while wading. We welcomed some new participants - good to have you with us, guys!

Yes, this was a fantastic event. I think we had 13 people at the presentation which was a good turn out for an early Saturday morning. There was 6 of us that went on the float and I think there was about 12 fish caught. It seems the smallies were busy making babies rather than eating. We had a ton of fun though. I can post up a picture or two. Also, Brenda, I will try to email you a couple pictures as well.
