cleveland area streams

So I'm a newer southwest Ohio member heading to Cleveland area on businesss next month and was hoping to hit a smallmouth stream on the 16th...I have read that Conneaut creek is decent and can be waded...any input from our northern members, and any suggestions on access points would be appreciated...thanks

I've only accessed Conneaut for steelhead. For smallmouth, I have frequented the Vermilion, Grand, and Rocky, and all have plenty of good access via park systems. In particular, check out Hidden Valley on the Grand.
