Earth Days has been observed the entire week. Get involved. I'll be doing a cleanup on Lake Griffey in Bloomington, IN. attending a program on urban gardening and another for energy evaluation of my home.
Look around for a way to get involved in your area.

Like it's my job! Lots of busy surrounding invasive species prevention, outreach, and research throughout the weekend, month, and year along with all the other junk I do. Feel free to ask for detail over a tasty pint sometime.

I'm askance with the concept of Earth Day as opposed to Earth Daily...but I guess that you have to start somewhere.
...also disturbed with the fact that much of this "green" stuff has just become a marketing ploy really.
I'm easy on the use of energy and resources and have a 28 mpg car...which I don't drive all that much. I do recycle, and even go through the trash in the laundry room at my apartment complex for stuff to take to the recycle bins with my household stuff.
When I get depressed that the majority don't seem to care much, I recall that about 20% of the people around in 1775 gave us this nation.
