Wow, didn't know the problem was so widespread. It would be nice if they could narrow down what is causing the problem

I think part of the problem is there are multiple problems in different places, so the problem itself isn't narrow: hormones and endocrine disruptors as runoff from agricultural operations, hormones and hormone mimics in pharmaceuticals and even cosmetics concentrated in urban places, etc.
