Some of you may remember a not too long time ago there was a guage on the Little Darby in West Jefferson. To the best of my knowledge the guage was killed because of lack of funding. Would anyone know what it would take to get this guage going again? Who could we ask, talk to or otherwise try to get involved with to get the guage back online? there also used to be more than one guage on Big Darby. Would anyone know where they used to be. I think i have heard 3 in the past. darbyville and 2 others?

Dave,
It would sure be nice to have one at Plain City or even a little further upstream from there. Have you heard anything else about how this could be done? Ever talk to the metro park guys about something like this? Maybe ODNR/DOW could put one at a location for some of the land they purchased. Not sure if they have the funding or interest, but it would be a great tool.

kyle, the guages are already there. they just need the funding to update and maintain them.

Check and see if the EPA(US) is utilizing the gage.
They have access and equipment in many active and some inactive USGS gage stations.
Some stations are not real-time yet are active.
