Asian carps: Current status and potential threats
with Eugene Braig, Ohio Sea Grant College Program, OSU
Eugene Braig (aka me), Assistant Director of Ohio Sea Grant, will present us with some background on the invasive silver and bighead carps proliferating throughout the Mississippi drainage, current status of control efforts, and potential threats to our valued native fisheries. Braig is a co-coordinator of Ohio's Aquatic Invasive Species Committee that advises the ODNR and holds several positions on several regional, national, and bi-national committees regarding invasive species and carp management. I hope to chat with y'all there.
